Google says it chose which subjects to include by making the guide apply to Webmasters of all skill levels and sites and sizes of all types.

Some of the topics Google covers are best practices for page title tags, meta tags, URL structure, site navigation and content.

The comprehensive guide also contains a helpful list of free Webmaster tools from Google along with information about its Web analytics services

The guide has illustrations throughout, advice on what to avoid and links to other resources that expand on a particular topic.

Google says it will continue updating the guide at regular intervals with new optimization tips and technical advice.

It’s a resource that every Webmaster should check out no matter their skill level.

Advertisers

obviously, Advertisers have the ability to obtain links from publishers for as little as 1 point a link. Currently at the time of this post the point-dollar exchange rate is 1000 points per dollar. So a dollar for 1000 links is not too bad if you ask me even if the links are all PR0.\

Starting your first link campaign is a peice of cake. It’s as easy as hitting the “create new campaign” button. You then are asked to name your campaign, and select the types of sites you would like your links to appear on. The value of links is measured through Yahoo Backlinks and Google PageRank, hence the higher the PR the more expensive a link is.

For accurate targetting TNX allows you to choose the most relevant category to the URL you are promoting. Even better, you can GeoTarget, and only select sites that are in a specific language.

Creating ads is easy too. In fact, it reminds me of the adwords setup. You are encouraged to create a diverse range of ads, just incase the one’s you want are not approved.

Publishing, selling adspace is relatively simple too. Firstly you submit your site to TNX, not that your site must be hosted on a server that supports Perl or PHP, and it must already be indexed by Google.

• Have the main keyword you would like your blog to target at the beginning of your title.
  For example, “Making Money Online with 007″ rather than “007s Blog About Making Money Online”
• Prevent Indexing of duplicate content.
  Duplicate content that may exist on your blog as a result of the category, and archive pages is intended for that sake of your readers(To help them locate posts more effectively). This duplicate content can result in the search engines penalizing your blog. Using the noindex feature from All-in-One-Seo you can prevent the search engines indexing duplicates.
• Permalink Format.
  Log into wp-admin, under the settings panel, click permalinks. The default settings are numerical permalinks. Numbers mean nothing to search engines. Words do. You can experiment with different permalink formats, however I recommend that you select the “Month and Name” option.
• Use of keywords in description tag.
  Getting the right balance is important here, while too many keywords may have an opposing effect it is still important to have 1 or 2 of keywords present in the description tag so as to not miss out on any of that juicy targeted traffic. I would not recommend surpassing 3 keywords unless absolutely necessary.
